A family dietitian works with the parents to create a more neutral, intuitive, and overall positive environment when it comes to feeding their family. We consider your family’s lifestyle, schedule, nutrition needs, budget, and challenges to provide you with dietary recommendations and tips for healthy eating behaviors.
Together, with a family nutritionist on our team, we can:
Individualize nutrition plans
Provide support for breastfeeding
Give support and tips for feeding picky eaters (without a fight)
Help you manage food allergies
Help you manage chronic diseases like diabetes, Crohn’s, and Celiac
Help you manage gut health issues, like constipation
Help prevent disordered eating
Identify and treat disordered eating and eating disorders with MNT
Provide you with nutrition education and resources
Help make family meals enjoyable again
We highly recommend that all primary caregivers (both parents, grandparents etc. depending on your family dynamic) attend meetings to ensure everyone is on the same page and can ask questions regarding dietary and mealtime recommendations.
Research shows that there are many health benefits of family nutrition. Some of these benefits include:
We accept most major insurance companies, and most clients pay little to nothing outside of copays or deductibles to meet with a family nutritionist on our team.
We also offer military discounts as we are not in network with Tricare. We always recommend checking your insurance benefits regarding nutrition coverage as coverage depends on the patient’s individual insurance plan.
Yes! We offer telehealth services for family nutrition consultations making it easy and convenient for families to schedule in the day, afternoon, evening, or Saturdays.
Contact us and get a 15- minute, free-of-charge discovery call with a family dietitian on our team. We can answer any questions you may have regarding nutrition therapy. This call can also help us pair you with a dietitian that is the best fit for your needs.
Please note, we are not checking insurance benefits. This is the responsibility of the patient/parent. Here is an insurance script to help you verify your coverage.
